Great way to end our trip. The hotel with airy rooms, in a beautiful area, to the bookstore.

Everything was great, had a very nice stay during our visit. The food was awesome, had good choice of options.

This was a VERY NICE trip, I did not want to leave. Everything was great, fantastic service, stunning location next to a working farm and so many nearby activities and excursions and the mountain.

We recently stayed at a hidden gem near Rincon de La Vieja and had an amazing experience. The owners treated us like family and provided delicious meals with organic vegetables from their farm. The wooden cabins were spacious and had beautiful views. We enjoyed activities like hiking, birding, and yoga arranged by the owners. we highly recommend this peaceful and authentic Costa Rican retreat.

The lodge is located in a beautiful natural environment down a local river and surrounded by the forest below Rincon de la Vieja. The cabins are comfortable and spacious, with charming decor and hot showers. The staff is friendly and accommodating, serving delicious and plentiful meals. Guests can enjoy hiking the trails, observing tropical birds and monkeys, and even learning about chocolate making.

One downside is the bumpy rural road leading to the lodge, which can be challenging for some travelers.

Beautiful location and peaceful atmosphere. The cabins were comfortable, clean and well-furnished. The farm was a great place to explore and learn about the local area, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The drive to the hotel was quite rough and remote, which may not suit everyone. , there were a lot of bugs, so it's important to bring insect repellent and anti-itch cream.

I had an incredible stay surrounded by the lush rainforest. The hotel facilities were great, with comfortable open-air cabins and a lovely small restaurant. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the park entrance and some great hiking trails. I loved the breakfast offered here, and the cleanliness was top-notch.

Absolutely loved our Xmas vacation! Surrounded by lush greenery and exotic birds, complementary fishing and chocolate tours added to our delightful experience. Picturesque views of the volcano and the rainforest's serene ambiance were breathtaking. We enjoyed the fresh air, rainforest trails and exotic wildlife sightings. We also appreciated the variety of options for outdoor explorations.

Some of the cabins had maintenance issues, which affected our stay. some of the staff wasn't familiar with the area's tourist activity calendar, causing us to miss out on a couple of events.
